Here's the specs on both tires according to the Tire Rack website;

Goodyear DuraTrac
Size - 285/70/17
Tread width - 9.1"
Section width - 11.5"
Overall diameter - 32.8"
Revs per mile - 635

BFG KM2
Size - 285/70/17
Tread width - 9.5"
Section width - 11.5"
Overall diameter - 33"
Revs per mile - 630

As promised... here are my 285/70r17 duratracs on 17x8 4.5" backspacing next to a stock sahara 18 with 255s.

I have seen the km2 in person on a 17x8 rim. On 285/70r17 the km2 is a fraction of an inch taller. The duratracs look much wider though.
