?? for people with direct bolt on rear shafts
All you guys running direct bolt on rear drive shafts I have a question for you. How many bolts do you have on the transfer case side? I only have six bolt holes on the shaft flange as opposed to eight on the transfer case flange. Im only able to get four bolts through the shaft flange because the universal joints are in the way.. Im gonna call the shaft company tommorow. to make sure Im not making a mistake, which is VERY possible.. the shaft I ordered uses the original flanges on both ends. The saleman insisted that I use the bolts that he provided but He sent 16 bolts... got me puzzeled....

I'm probably going to go with the same shaft, any special installation details?
And what control arm settings you running in the rear?
Also, what's LSU football looking like this year, hard to imagine you guys not being anywhere but on the top of the SEC standings.
I'm hoping Spurrier can pull things together for us, last year injuries just killed us after a fantastic start with a struggling offense.

hey edwin
Yeah the shaft looks really nice, very good work. I had it on for a few days with only four of the six bolts on the Tcase side. I had trouble with two of the bolts. I called and left a message today and he called me back on a sunday evening, thats pretty sweet. I either used the bolts in the wrong location or they made a mistake and didnt send me two shorter bolts. I have to check it out in the morning. He told me that if it was his mistake that he would do watever he had to do in order to correct the error. As far as LSU football goes, I really cant say the SEC is LOADED this year. Auburn is going to be strong. But I dont think the conference is going to produce a National champ this year because all the teams are going to really bang each other up. Even though we may have a few of the strongest teams in the nation, but hey if you want to play with the big boys.....As far as the Gamecocks are concerned I would give the old ball coach some time and he'll be back up top.. One thing I really want to do when I retire, which is still a ways off, is to watch a football game in every SEC stadium and Tailgate.... Hell yeah!!!!

I think the Gamecocks might be a little stronger than anybody's giving them credit for, we even gave you guys a pretty good game last year down there.
If not for a couple of drops, it would have been down to the wire (remember that easy touchdown-intercetion we left on the carpet!).
Many thanks for the classy treatment and positive comments about our team last year.
But before Dorsey got hurt, you guys had the best defense of any college team of the last several years. We lost Brinkley early, then the best of the rest of the defensive line, and finished the season with no cornerbacks at all, backups included!
It's going to be a great year in the SEC, especially if we stay healthy.
