I have some 305/70R16 Toyo MT's. I have them paired up with a OME 2" and love them. I feel the ride is way better than stock and wouldn't go back or think of going skinnier at all. A little hum but nothing bad at all. Great tire

The roads in Vegas must be better than where I drive...

Agreed...roads must be better in Vegas. I get a lot of drifting to either side..perhaps roads in Ohio aren't as good. I get really nervous at 50 MPH+. Must be a lot of semi trucks screwing up the roads I drive on. But 33x12.5 looks a lot meaner than the stock wheel and tire pkg.

I have 33X12.5X17 Duratraks on my jeep for about six months now. Love them, little road noise and handling seems fine. Didn't want to go bigger yet because didn't want to regear yet for when I put on 35's.

You could try 31" tires. That's what I did. I'm running Goodyear Duratrac 265/75-16's and the ride is superb. They look a lot bigger than they are.

I'm running 265/70-16s right now. That is the equivalent of a 31x10.50. In my opinion, they are puny for this Jeep. Most Jeeps look awesome on 31s. The JKU is SO big that it swallows up the 31s and still looks goofy. My breakover angle is still horrible. I rub my belly on everything offroad. It's getting annoying.

I've got 2 new 265/75-16s (32s) waiting on me to buy 2 more....but now I'm thinking that I want to step on up to 33s and make it worth the money.

So, 255/85/16, 285/75/16, 33x12.50, etc... lots of 33" options and it's hard to pick because I'm getting wheels too. So I could go anywhere from 15s to 17s with wheels, etc. Ugh... just a lot to decide on. I hate trying to decide.

I'm running 305/65-17 (33x12.50) BFG AT KO's and I'm extremely happy with the road manners. And they are an E rated tire. I played with the air pressure a little to get a softer ride.

Me too! I'm running the same tires in the same size & I'm very happy with the ride!
