Default pcs hood louver

So my amazing gf gave me my Xmas present early. A Poison Spyder hood louver. I plan on doing it myself and just asking if there are any tips on how to do it. Or anything I gotta watch out for.

The hardware breaks easliy so be careful when tightening them down. Other than that just follow the template and go slow and easy

Watch when you tighten the bolts you could dimple the hood and if using a cutting wheel cover up everything I did everything but the windshield and the sparks etch'd it

Mask off everything, cover the windshield, put a drop cloth under the hood if you're not going to remove it from the jeep. Touch up paint on everything you cut. What are you planning on cutting with?

You definitely want to take off the hood. cover everything that's not going to be cut. Paint all the cut edges with some rust proof paint. I used a pnuematic high speed cut off tool. It cut through the sheet metal like butter.

I don't know if I'd Herculune the bottom, but I'd at least paint it with a good rust resistant paint.
