13.3 is pretty damn fast for a modded Jeep with extra weight.

I got around 9 with my stick/3.21/mods/superchip. JPop got about 9.5 with his 35s. It also depends on gas quality and elevation too.

IcyFridge,
What benefits do you get with the superchip and the 6 speed tranny? I have a 6 speed and was wondering if its worth looking onto?

x2...are you building a race car or a rock crawler ??? I don't understand when people lift their Jeeps, add large off road tires and heavy equipments/armor and complain about 0-60 times ...

1. Increased MPG (I went to 19mpg from 16.5)
2. Way better throttle response (no more "resistance" when stepping on the pedal - it gives immediate throttle response)
3. calibrated speedo for my 33s
4. Jeep pulls harder (and I only use 87 octane tune)
5. And it sounds more badass too.

Ok you guys and ya 0 to 60 times had me thinking, so I went to a figur'in - last trail run was 2 1/2 miles and we did it in 1 1/2 hours, gained elevation of approx 400 feet - so if I take 2 1/2 divide by 1 1/2, uh carry the rocks and add the dust it equals fun!

2 1/2 div by 1 1/2 = FUN

Agreed, but I'd want a RIPP supercharger for offroad performance and obviously on road as well, but being worried about a 0-60 time in a jeep IMO is useless... It's nice to pass people on the highway, but who buys a jeep to race? On my 5 hour drive back from rausch creek this past weekend (Tatas) I averaged 75-80 with no problems. I'm running 35's, 3" lift and 3.73's...

With the doors and top off, the weight savings helps a little.

I'm not saying it needs a faster 0-60 for racing. It's merely the easiest and most universal way to express how slow it is. I've already explained why it needs to be faster; don't take it out of context.

You changed it up a bit from the original post... There is a big difference in wanting to go from 0-60 opposed to a passing gear or allowing you to maintain speeds of 75 mph and higher... For about 3K less, you could re-gear to 4.88-5.13's and achieve the same thing for highway speeds....

Also, if you can afford a RIPP supercharger then by all means go for it.. I know if I had the 5K to do so, I'd be running one.... And may even test a little light to light action!
