Default Parts needed to regear?

So I have a 2012 JK 6 Spd and want to regear from my stock 3.21s to 4.56 since I'm running 35s. Can anyone fill me in on what parts I need to order/reliable brands? Thanks

New front carrier, gears, install kits and 4 qts of 75w90.

Northridge4x4 has a package deal on gear sets and master install kits for $659 in the 4.56, they can also hook you up with the carrier

Why would he need a new carrier?

Ring and pinion set w\Master install kit..... Since you have a New Jeep assuming low mileage you can get get away with a Minor install kit and use your existing bearings if they don't get damaged during tear-down.

If you've never done a re-gear add $300-$400 per axle or around $1400 for professional install. In a shop knowing what you are doing will take 6-8 hrs with proper tools. I Just paid to have mine done and what a difference

it makes. The savings in improved mileage will pay you back at the pump. I got 3-5 mpg increase and less stress on your Vehicle. Shop around there are some good deals out there. I got free Diff covers @ $130 a peice from G2.

Price for Master vs. Minor install kits Basically $75-100 per kit as the Master includes the bearings.

And for JK 07-12 SAE 85W-140 HD Gear oil.

He needs a new carrier because he has 3.21 gears , anything under 3.73 needs a new carrier
to go above 3.73

Are you going to do the regear yourself? Have you done it before?

You are correct I already had 3.73 so that never crossed my mind.

I went with G2 ring and pinion set mainly because of the free diff covers as I was going to buy some anyway and they are around $100-$150 apiece so I couldn't pass it up.

I believe you have standard gears in the rear jk d44 and reversed up front in the jk d30.

I've never done it before and with my jeep being so new I plan to have it done by someone else
