Painting a raw bumper... Suggestions?
Hey guys. Just got my JCR rear dagger series in and looking for some suggestions on the best paint to use to coat this bad boy.
Anyone done it with a pain that doesn't easily chip off or rust?

I'd check around locally and find someone to powder coat it. You won't regret it, will last a lot longer than just spraying it. Use to have dirtbike wheels powder coated for people who didnt want to spend the money on excel wheels and they would hold up great.

clean the metal with solvent get anyoil residue off
2 or three coats of metal etching primer after a light sanding and 3 coats of paint or bedliner
going to do mine here . got a poison spyder mid font bumper im not payn for a powdercoat job that can run you 250 or so gonna try the best and call it a day then touch up as needed ! bedliner spray is easy repair

This is the wife's jeep so she is deciding on a smooth or textured finish
