PSC has great stuff, I have the brawler rockers on my JK.

I used wingwalk compound to provide a non-slip surface. This is a milspec coating designed for walking on. Paint it on with a brush and let it dry. Use gloves unless you want some dirty looking hands for a while

Ended up going with the rattle can. Main section of the Rocker Knockers I waited with black bed liner. The inserts I painted a metallic dark grey. Happy with how it turned out. Now will wait and see how long it holds up.

You can order it online or go to a local aviation supply company. I got my wingwalk from an aviation company locally for about $25 or $30 for a small can.

Question. How do these hold up? I love they way they look but has anyone taken a big knock on them? I have Fab Four ones on my two door and they are tanks! Ya I'm building a fantasy jeep in my head don't judge me the rock brawlers look more stout.

Another thing you can do is put skateboard grip tape on the top of the slider where you place your foot, it would work with any sliders.

Edit: just noticed this thread is fairly old, hope everything worked out

The PSC rocker knockers are tanks also.
