Painting my pro comps
#11
I have painted many things but rustoleum is a paint I always stay away from. This duplicolor bumper paint is the best and most durable matte black I have found. No clear coat. I repainted my whole motorcycle with it and it is about 6 years old now and still looks great! Like everyone else said prep is key! Good luck.

Wheels take an extreme amount of abuse and the only thing that ever lasted on wheels for me was undercoating/bed liner (which is tricky because you have to have a very even coat to not mess up future balancing requirements)
Otherwise the end all, be all is sand blast and powder coating!

When I had my old Sahara wheels, I painted them black. I recommend self etching primer and duplicolor wheel paint. Mine turned out fantastic and held up very well.
