Painting the Hard Top's Interior

did mine with krylion fusion black satin. perfect. not easily scratchable and dry fast. one bottle per panel . i did not do the rear yet. might be 4-5 bottles.
be realy carefull with the washing part. your top need to be realy clean. i think dish soap work fine it gets the greasy feel of of it. and i finished with windex. a year now and not even a scratch. if it scratch you just put a little sharpie and voila.

The stock inside texture of the hard top is excellent so no need to sand or use DupiColor bed liner (you could could end up with an uneven texture). I also used Krylon satin black, It is very durable. The residual mold release must be thoroughly removed before painting, I used MEK.

Painted the outside factory black to match exterior and the inside flat black (friend owns body shop). Installed black hothead headliners and it came out great. Looks great and really cut down radiant heat and noise. The flat black looks good against the roll bar/speaker rack. Highly recommend it.
