Do what you like but make sure you get a good painter. You get what you pay for.

Your Jeep will probably look great with matching black surfaces. Much better, I think, than the one-color silver Jeep.

The Maaco question is different. I have had wonderful work done at Maaco in past years. All Maaco shops are privately owned so each one will be different. Check out a couple of local Maaco shops and do your homework. You'll get what you pay for if you do your homework.

To each his own.

I definitely agree that you should avoid Maco!! Unless you like being treated like cattle.

It's your jeep I say go for it but as everyone is saying stay away from Maaco. Go to a local car show and see where those guys get theirs done at. And that way you can see the work first hand.

If you're going to get a one-off or personalized top, you might as well pony up and get it done right/done to last.

I saw a really nice job here in my town of a guy with a red rock Sahara with a color-matched top. Looks great, now only if he strips all the little chrome billet accents it wouldn't look like a Hummer...

You most likly wouldnt put LIME GREEN rock rails and decals on yours, but thats what I did!
Go with your gut, Jeeps are built, not bought.
