You sure you can't get the grill off without taking the bumper/winch off?
I have a Warn Elite + winch, and this past weekend I did the screen behind the grill modification. Thought for sure I couldn't get the grill off, but by cutting about 1/4" off the plastic post on the lower middle of the grill, I was eventually able to get it out and back on again.
Sure beats taking off several hundred pounds of hardware!

Yeah I had to slide out the bumper. My winch wire were right up against the grill. I got it out though. Today I sand and paint. Hopefully have time to do the inserts for the grill. I'll post pics as soon as its done.

Great pics everyone. I'm really pumped about doing this.
