Question Paint Over Existing Powder Coat

I've got a Poison Spyder Evap Skid Plate to install and want to use Duplicolor Flame Red rattle can paint to match it's color to the Rancho oil pan skid and a set of ARB differential covers. Any surface prep, besides de-greasing with brake cleaner, required? Is primer required over the powder coat?

Thanks

i might recommend sanding the powder coat with a fine grit or taking a scotch brite pad to it before painting.

Self etching primer or some sand paper would help.
