I am doing the Raptor Liner in the spring as well. I have used Herculiner in my CJ5 and am not impressed with the quality. A friend of mine has Raptor Liner in his Brute and the quaility / texture is similar to LineX, just not as thick.
This is a good thread to check out.

The paint underneath was looking raggedy so this covered it up and also made for a nice easy to clean surface. This stuff doesn't have a thick rough texture with chunks in it like some other products do, which is why we chose it.
Pics are first coat and then the final coat before we called it a day.

I've uses some stuff in the past called Durabak. It's used a lot in marine applications. It's a roll or spray on. Really tough stuff. they'll even send you free color samples.
