Sounds like the transmission went into limp mode.

Were any other codes present? Maybe P0870 and/or P0871?

What troubleshooting did the shop do to come to the conclusion the transmission needs replacing?

You problem could be as simple as a bad sensor.

With the turbo, and operating in the sand, you are correct in thinking you need a stronger transmission, though.

I don't know how exactly the shop reached to this conclusion. I dropped the jeep to the shop on wednesday and we have weekend on thursday and friday, they should open on saturday so i will go and make sure
The jeep just gave me this code p0733
I am running diablo in-tune which comes with the turbo kit

I have the Prodigy Turbo and I have the same problem. My transmission won't go into 3rd gear. What did you do to resolve the situation?
