Default Overhaul kit?

Finally got time at the shop who's gonna make the swap to Superior 5.13 gears. While loading the stuff into the back of the Jeep, I noticed that both overhaul kits were marked "rear" !

They're both D44, and the gears are as they should; front (reverse) and rear. Anyone knows if the overhaul kits are the same? They have different article numbers at www.4wd.com which makes me wonder...

Any help appreciated!

I meant to check for you last night (I have the boxes in my garage) but I forgot. I'll try and get you the part numbers on my boxes when I get home.

Thanks David!

Anyways, seems to be solved now. 4wd hardware promised to ship a correct kit out instantly, so I guess it'll be allright, then.

Now I'm confused... got an email from Superior's vice president just now. He says the components are the same for front and rear (bearings and all other components...), and I should be set with the two kits I've got. Beats me, but I guess he knows what he's talking about!

I did, David! 'Cause I was wondering the exact same thing.

Haven't got a reply yet, though... But I'll let you know as soon as I get it!
