Default Out with RE 2.5" coil springs, In with OME 2616/2617 Combo

Got the springs today, but i'll have them installed Monday.

Nothing wrong with the RE's, i just don't have enough weight in the rear to properly run them, so they ride a little harsh when offroading, i'll also add, they gave me too much lift, so the 33's doesn't exactly feel right with the Jeep lifted that much, it was basically 4" front (on stock bumpers), and 2.5 in the back (because the springs are bowed, otherwise it'll be easy 3-3 1/4" lift), and with 150lbs in the nose (stubby bumper and winch), they settled to 3.5" front.

So i'm expecting the OME's to give me a better ride, and a better look with 33's

This are the free length measurements, i'll post lift heights on Monday once i get the springs installed, i'm also adding the RK correction wedges to the rear to avoid the bowed springs.

2616 Front free length: 19.5"

Got the OME springs installed on Monday, driving impressions are positive as expected, front came down a good 2", rear remanined the same as i had before, more likely because of the RK correction wedges, the way it sits right now, looks like stock stance with a big rear rake, which is not bad considering i was planning to get the a rear bumper anyways
All measurements are center wheel cap to fender

measurements after 300 miles
OME 2616 front, OME 2617 rear with RK correction wedges
OME 2616 spring rates: 135lbs
OME 2617 spring rates: 160lbs
Weight mods: XRC MOD Stubby with bull bar and 12k Winch front (around 150lbs in the nose)
ACE sliders/Rubicon Rails (around 80lbs on each side)
Stock rear bumper (20lbs)

Height after lift
Front: 22"
Rear: 23 1/2"

As a comparison point:
With RE 2.5 standard Springs, same weight as above, no RK correction wedges in the rear springs.
RE RM40450 front, spring rates: 185lbs
RE RM60465 rear, spring rate: 230lbs

Height after lift:
Front:24"
Rear: 23 1/2"

Compared to a stock Rubicon for more reference
Factory Rubicon values (even though mine is not a Rubicon, but i can use this values as a reference) measure from wheel center cap to bottom fender lip)
Front: 20.5"
Rear: 21.25"

Given you guys experiences with the OME 2717, how many lbs of weight will be needed to bring the rear down 3/4" to 1" ?
The rear bumpers i'm looking at weight around 140lbs, would this be ok for the 2617 springs ? or would they sag to much with this weight ?

I'm also adding the Rockhard steel oil/trans skids in a couple of weeks once i get them shipped from Rockhard, so that'll be it for weight, for now. sticking with 33's and stock gearing for a while

Anybody ? I'm looking at 2 options for rear bumpers for now, with no integrated tire carrier as i'm running 33's for a while, and i don't want to go super heavy, I did look at the ACE rear bumper but geez that sucker is 140lbs without the tire carrier.

I'm looking into the Poison Spyder Rock Brawler with tabs (75lbs), and the Smittybilt SRC bumper (117lbs), more inclined towards the Poison Spider as it weight less, later on i can add a TF carrier if i need to, while still keeping the weight somewhere in check. Opinions ? 75lbs with those 2617 rear springs should help bring the rear down 1/2-3/4" ? Are this really light duty or medium duty springs ?

i called ARB this morning and they said the 2617 were the no load ones?, so technically i should not be running any weight, then the guy went on to say 2618's required 300lbs of constant weight, so the 2617's were better suited for stock bumper, but when i asked the guy to double check as i had their catalog in front of me, basically arguing the 2617's were 160lbs springs, and according to their own documentation stock was 100lbs, how could 160lbs/inch of spring pressure was considered no load ? after a pause, he mentioned 140lbs of weight should be ok with those springs, and the rear should sag down enought to give me a more level stance, but then i'm reading old posts from 2011 saying the LD springs will sag 3/4" with the stock rear bumper ?? so far after 400 miles already including some light offroading to test the ride, the front/rear sagged down 1/4" in my case, i don't think i'll see 3/4" sag with stock rear bumper, will i ?

i'll be adding 250lbs with gear to the back of the Jeep this weekend, so i'm expecting the rear to sag a little bit more after that, another reason i don't want to go too heavy in the back, i'm liking the front stance with the 33's, now i need the rear to go down 3/4 to 1" , would 75lbs be enough for that?, or should i go with a little heavier bumper ? funny as most will want to go up, while i'm trying to loose a little height

Thanks one more time.
