I would almost bet that the upper C on that side is bent inward a little causing the gusset to sit incorrectly. If you have a 2 foot digital level, you can check if it is bent quickly comparing to the other side. If its bent, you don't want to weld that gusset on there essentially locking in the bent C, which will lead to issues down the road (premature wear on tires, bearings, etc). Just a thought.

Well I ordered my Knuckle Gussets and they just came in today. I wanted to slide them in to see how they will fit... Now I'm not too entirely knowledgable about my jeep just yet but is this right? They seem to be unable to fit due to the spring...
Am I completely off here?

I will try to measure later today. I have not been rough on the jeep at all and have not been offload yet so I hope it isn't bent.
I do not have a digital level so I'll have to find another way to measure it
