Default Ordered 34's....now what to make them fit?

Hey guys,

I have ordered 30570r17 MTR's to go on my Unlimited X. I've been tossing between 33's and 35's so I thought why not just meet in the middle. I've been thinking about going with the OME setup but am wondering if I may just be better off going with a 2.5 BB. Is there any reason to spend the $650 on the OME when I can get away with a BB? Btw I am planning on adding an ARB bullbar with a warn 9k lb winch but that's gonna have to wait a couple of months. From what I have read I will have to add a leveling spacer for either system when the bumper/winch is added. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

In my opinion both kits are nice kits. Since you are going to go with a full size bumper and winch I would recommend going with the HD OME kit. This HD spring lift will stand up better to the heavy weight of your add ons. The stock springs (and shocks if you used them) will not like the added weight. I would also add that it depends on what your going to use your Jeep for. If its a street queen then you will have no problems with either kit. If you plan to use it off road then I would lean towards the OME kit.

With these things in mind only you can choose what is best for you and your budget. Either way install it yourself and have fun!

go ome hd, way better shocks, way better ride, if you know what your going to do stacking spacers as you go along will just give you really preloaded weak springs, limiting your down travel. i had a bb with shock extentions and moved up to the ome. what a difference.
the ome wasnt available yet when i started.
youll need wheel spacers for stock rims, you should know....

Go with the HD springs. The stock springs can't handle the weight of the bumper and winch. Been there done that. They will sag really bad after a few months.

Thanks guys. I just ordered an OME setup along with winch/bumper. I'm sure I'll be very happy with the setup. Thanks again!
