I'm in Ontario Canada my friend in our jeep club hated the DC mud tires in the winter .....
I roll on 35" Goodyear Duratracs in the winter the past 3 years snowflake rated and IMO best all round tire if you have to deal with snow season.... Great looks too.... If they made them in 37's they'd be the only tire I'd use..... I'm going up to the Goodyear MTR's w Kevlar in April 37" weight was a big factor in choosing these over my past summer set up.... the Mickey Thompson MTZ's 35" ..... My vote for you because you get snow too is the Duratracs..... They may not last quite as long as the Toyo's but they make up for it come winter ..... Good luck

I didn't know jeep made 2 wheel drive vehicles anymore. I don't think I have ever seen one. Learn something new everyday. I'm just glad mine has the badge so I can attend the exclusive outings for the trail editions only.

Spare mounted on stock carrier with 4.5" backspaces wheels. They are about 1" from the rubber stops and a 1/4" or less from bumper.

They are between 33.75 and 34" on my JKU with 30 psi.

I have an 11 with 3.73 gears and honestly I haven't noticed much of a power lose. Only time I have turned OD off was on the interstate pulling a cargo trailer and was running 70 mph at 2500 rpm. I don't baby it, but I also don't have a lead foot. Live in NW Arkansas so it pretty hilly.

They took 5 ounces each to balance.

Thanks, you should pick up some day star tailgate bumpstops. I like how your light is in the center cap. I almost didn't notice it.

There is a Tire i'm looking at testing, which seems to have pretty good reviews. Its the Yokohama Geolander M/t+ and it comes in a 38x13.5r17 that ways 80lbs, which is less than the togo mt in 37's. Check them out on tirerack.com, They are single direction, but Very competitively priced.

I had the mickey thompson claws, similar to the yoko's and they were a great tire IMO. They grabbed great, rode fairly quiet, handled fine on the road and I was on track for 40k miles without regular rotations. Regular rotations and leaving the trailer behind would have made them last longer.

I run 35" Fierce attitude MT. They have been an amazing tire summer and winter. I siped them and have run them all winter and they out perform the winter tires on my work truck and my wifes truck too...Im in Vernon BC so weve had quite the winter. I highly recommend them as a tire if you're looking for 35's, too bad they don't come bigger.

Ive also ran the ProComp Extreme MT on my XJ and they were spectacular too. Out performed many tires in Team Beer when in Moab.

My 2c.

Another question any opinions on the retreaded tires by treadwright? They look good and some people have said they are great and they only run around mid $900 shipped to your door and by the way that's 5 tires price
