Default Opinions on tire carriers

Alright guys. I have the Evo D-Ring brackets in the mail so I can go rearless. I don't need a tire carrier just yet, as I only have 32" tires. But Id like people's opinion on the following. I'm still undecided, so I need your help!

Evo Mfg 1200$. (Comes with corner armour and led taillights). I love this one, but I have yet to see a 2dr equipped with it.

Now if cost didn't matter....what's your favourite?? Insight on the ones you do have?

Pics are highly encouraged of your rigs. Preferably 2dr's. help me out

You dont want the EVO MFG tire carrier if your running 32's. its way to big!

I would go with the Genright tire carrier as the next choice....

We're a vendor of all of them btw!

Thanks! I won't be at 32's for long though. i plan on going to 35's or 37's by next winter. I won't need a carrier until then. Genright would be my next choice too.

I ran the or fab on my 2dr, I liked it. Was very solid and no rattle. i currently have the EVO tire carrier on my 4dr and it is solid too. A little less user friendly on a daily driver with two pins to open and close it but i knew that when i bought it. It rattles a little but not bad.

I have a friend in here who said it wasn't coated properly....started rusting within the first year. Have any problems with that? Was yours a Jerry can version? Rotopax? Neither?

Powder coating was ok, had rust at the block where the carrier latches to the body but that was about it. I ran the non jerry can version.

Thanks! Care to share any pictures? I haven't been able to find good shots of the non can versions. Not good ones anyway

I have the Or-Fab, non-can version. Installation is a bit of a bitch but it's solid, I highly recommend it.

I've used the bumper as well as tub (OR-Fab style) designs in the past but really like the design of the TF carrier because it opens and closes with the tailgate. If you ran a big heavy tire like a 40" the EVO or GenRight design would make sense. Just my

If you are going up to 37s then the evo or genright .I flip flopped over these two for a long time and finally decided on the evo. It cost a lot more but I new I would regret it down the road if I didnt get it.
