I ran Cooper STTs on my TJ Rubicon for a few years and really liked them. Good on road and really good offroad. They were pretty strong (they seemed heavier than my MT/Rs) and they lasted without showing any unusual wear (I was bad about rotating them too).

Although I'm extremely happy with my Duratracs, I'd buy the Coopers again if it came down to price and a good deal.

They are great tires. Just picked up a set of 35x12.5x15 for our XJ and they are awesome in the rocks and mud. I will say they are a little louder on the road than the 33" km2's that were on there, but it doesn't bother me at all. We certainly recommend them.

Love my STT 37's. Got about 8000 miles on them. I took an internet price into the Discount guys and they beat the price.

I have them in the 35x12.5 variety and while they don't do a bad job offroad, they will plug up easily and with about 12,000 miles on mine they are over half wore out which wouldn't be so bad if they didn't cost almost as much as the other name brands. For the $160 price difference in the BFG's, I won't be getting these again they just wear out to fast.

I was looking into these tires back in november and I was told by discount tire that these tires are being weeded out and no longer produced due to a new tire cooper will be replacing them with. That being said I ended up getting nitto trail grabs in 37s and have not morned the choice yet. A friend of mine is running the stt in 32s on his titan and the road noise is worse than my 37 trail graps

I use to run the STT on my truck and after they start wearing down the road noise gets worse. I was gonna run 'em on the jeep because they are a good tire but was told the same thing that they were weeding them out so I went with toyo OC and have minimum road noise and very satisfied with the offroad capabilities.

Any update with miles on the tires now? Went with 35 KM2s and now I want 37s. Considering the Coopers again. KM2s are expensive and run small.

I ran them in 33x12.5R17's on my 2012 JKUR. I also ran Duratrac and MTR before the Coopers. I liked the Coopers best. No problems balancing. Great performance off-road and decent road noise. You guys have me intrigued to learn of a new tire from Cooper.

I ran the stt on my 2500 and loved them. Great tires. I have 38k on them currently and still another 7-10k in them. That was with quite a few miles hauling a 28ft boat around. Just ordered a set of 35/12.50/17 for the jk. Expecting to get good milage out of these being the jk is much lighter. I believe it comes down to driving style, rotations, and air pressure . I would recommend them. Lots of nice tires on the market though. Good luck with your selection.
