I used the Smittybilt relo-spacer...Kept in on for 2 weeks only...
Lots of weight on tailgate...I am running exact same size...With the
rough roads we have here (sorta like trails) bought the smittybilt XRC
bumper with spare bracket...Over time your tailgate WILL suffer...

I think you will be ok for a lil bit but you might be asking for trouble using two spacers.

It's close but doesn't actually touch the bumper, there's about an 1/18" gap

Same thing on mine with 35 inch mt mtz's. But mine actually is snug on the bumper. Went wheeling once and put couple thousand miles on it like that. Doesn't seem like it has had any adverse effect on the tire carrier so far.

Just for the sake of comparison, here are shots of the distance from the bumper, the distance from the tire rests, and of how low the tire is compared to the bumper. All of these are taken with both 1.5" spacers used.

Use golf balls to extend you bump stops, worked perfect for my 315/75r16 on 4x5in back spacing.

That's a good idea, but I think I may need a bigger ball. I will definitely give it a shot. Thanks.
