Default Opinions On 1" Body Lift

Looking for all the advice info I can get on a 1" body lift.

Recomended brands?

Has anyone installed them? How hard is it? How long does it take?

I installed my Skyjacker BB, could I do a 1" body lift?

Anything you can throw at me is appreciated. Thanks

A 1" BL is typically a pretty simple affair...essentially, you are merely inserting spacers at the body mount points..and, to do that, you also loosen the stuff that runs fron the frame mounted parts, to the body mounts parts, so that they can have enough slack to move...and then re-tighten the stuff.

Most people tell me its an hour or three (I have not done a JK yet, but so far, I have not heard that its harder than any other jeep or truck.

I typically avoid body lifts because they normally look awful... especially on trucks How are they looking on the jk unlimited?

My BL took an hr and a half, woulda took an hour if I woulda had an 18mm socket( tool gremlens musta got it) Good floor jack, several blocks of wood( 4x4's 2x4's a foot or two long) bench vise, and a descent set of tools= easy install. If you can do a BB you definately can do a Bodylift

Thanks for all the input. I get scared that it will look stupid, especially with only 32" tires.
