A couple things. Did you recalibrate for your tire size when you put them on, because if you didn't you are getting better mileage than your computer is telling you. Also, if you go doorless and topless at speeds more than 25-30 mph, you will get worse mileage.

you may gain 1-2 mpg if you go with full synthetic in everything; diff, trans, motor, etc.

I'm running 37 Tera Grapplers on my 2011 with 4.10s. I get about 13mpg city and I can get 19mpg if I baby it on the highway around 50-54. Anything over 55mph and it starts sinking back down. I averaged 17mpg from SC to FL at 65mph.

I'm not sure my snorkel helps the mpgs much.

Ill try the synthetic... I bring the jeep to the dealer for oil changes... But I can do the other fluids!

For all the dough you're going to spend for a 1 mpg gain, get a beater 4 cyl POS for $1000 for the commute. My $.02

Then it would defeat the daily driven aspect! I might! I drive a tj at work the other day and liked it!

Get a geo tracker as a commuter for $1000, that's what they're for
