OK a fallow up question. Correct me if I wrong but a 1.25 body lift wont effect the angle of the drive shaft front or rear. Just got back wheeling with a guy who says my 2" front spring lift combined with the 1.25 BL is going to start killing my universal joints and the front drive shaft boot? I figured only the body would be going up the 1.25" not the drive gear.

Thanks Kojack, have you got a name or part number on the bags? Did they hurt you any when off road?

Correct. No affect on the driveline angles like with a suspension lift, just a little higher center of gravity. 6spds may need to fiddle with an adapter. For my auto, no issues. (though if I were to do it again, I would look at TF's body lift. Seems like an easier install the way theirs is set up.)

Was looking at that as well but do like the bumper relocate brackets for the RC. I don't believe TF offers that? Just figured a little more work for a little better fit?

I don't even remember how long I ran the body lift, a year and a half maybe, and never did get around to installing the bumper brackets. You'll have to decide how much the gap bugs you. (looks worse on brighter colors I think, not all that bad on mine)

I don't have the part number, however, go on airlifts website and they have a listing for the stock JK suspension. Once you go lift, you will have to measure your spring height and inner diameter. They do not hurt off road performance at all. I am not rock crawling however.

If you are going to run 35's and swap back and forth with factory wheels you should look at buying new wheels with a 4.5" bs so you don't have to run adapters.

I used adapters for 3 years with no issues. I think if you buy a quality spacer you will be fine. the issue comes from buying the cheap ones.

I am saying going back and forth from factory to 35" tires would be better off without adapters. It will look funny being that wide with adapters and skinny factory tires. swapping out wheels and adapters every time you wheel will be a pain.

Hardware should really be replaced any time it is removed.
