I have the OME lift on the way (616 and 617 springs) and need to know if there is a need to replace the sway bar links? I have an 08, 2 Door and plan on using 35" KM2's.

Also how about bump stops, will the front and or rear need extensions?

I have the exact same lift and Jeep. The links in the back look like they will be okay and I haven't done anything with them yet. The front ones are pretty short and some quick discos are on the top of my list to change those ones out. Haven't had a problem yet, but the front sway bar is sitting a little low right now. And, I haven't flexed it too hard yet. Not running any bump stop extensions, but I am sitting on 33's. Hope that helps.

I have the OME lift. I opted not to get extended sway bar links and I am now driving around without the front passenger link. While wheeling 2 weeks ago in CO, (easy to moderate trail) I lost my right front link. Now the tab on the axle is bent and I had to use a hacksaw to get the broken link off the sway bar.

So, my advice is get some links!!!!!

I went with extended teraflex in the rear and moved the rears up front. The TF are OK if you have new wheels (5.5" bs or less) - wont work with stock. You will also want to put an extra washer between the link and the axle tab or the zerk will rub.

I expect there is a better product, but these are working well so far.

I extended my rear links with the superlift links from Quadratec and moved my stock rears to the front.

I'll be installing the OME MD kit this Saturday. According to Dave at Northridge, I probably will not need the extended links since its not the HD kit. I have a 2-door Rubicon.

How will I know for sure, though? Is there something specific to measure or look at?

I have a 4 Door Rubi UL
I bought one of the first HD OME kits that came in.
I still have it sitting as I wont put it on till everything
is here and now I finally have everything ordered.

Anyway!

When I ordered it I was told I would not need anything else.
Can someone tell me if this has changed over time???

OME was claiming this to be a complete lift when they brought
them out..

I have the OME HD kit. I would say that you may be fine and never have an issue, but for $75 you could order extended rear links and move the stock rear links to the front. IMO, get the extended links.

you don't NEED anything else for it to function well. But if you want to get the most out of it I would say get adjustable track bars front and rear, and do the links.
