OME Pkg vs. AEV vs. RE Superflex

are you definitely limiting yourself to those companies (RE/OME/AEV)?
honestly long arm & coil overs is beyond my current realm of experience but imho you may want to expand your search with that kind of build in mind.
If I were in your boat (and that's gonna be a nice boat ) I'd throw at least Tera Flex & Rock Krawler into my research. Maybe a couple others?
what kind of wheeling you planning on?

I had every rubber bushings on sf kit fail in about 2 weeks. Cracked and ovalized. Rear end clunked because of it. Replaced all bushings with new and only one has failed in six months. New bushings have 4 tits on them. Love the flex and ride on my 4 door ruby but what a pain to have to replace all rubber on a new lift. They paid for bushings but no offer on labor. Have have had on for a year now. For the money should get at least 30 k out not 3-6 k miles !

Just to throw this out there in case you didn't know, Full -Traction is coming out with an OEM type bushing for their kits. It seems the bushing prob seemed to hit RE and Full-traction at the same time a couple years ago and has followed them. Maybe they gottem from the same bushing manufacturer. I pick on the RE guys, no harm ment though.

no worries though, we have fun
as far as the bad bushings, apparently it was a manufacturer from overseas years ago, but damn, dave at northridge put out some disappointing numbers on the bushings earlier.

Well, ya gotta think about how many kits were manufactured and how many were sitting on a shelf waiting to be sent and then how many may have set at a retailer for awhile. You can start getting into some big numbers pretty quickly and also the fact that some kits, if kept in stock, even if it's one kit can add up. A manf may have made several hundred or thousands before a defect is known. Alot of times we don't think about things like this. Also there maybe alot of people out there that don't even know they have bad bushings(mall crawlers) or someone who just wanted the look and really doesn't do any mechanic work on the jeep themselves.

looks like i have fallen to the bad bushings problem. when i changed out my rear axle tonight, i was able to inspect alot better with the tire off.
yup, the upper and lower control arm bushings are cracked and have dry rot. gues i will get in touch with RE and hopefully get this worked out. in some ways im glad that yall brought this up about bushings and my axle was bent, otherwise i probably would not have take the tire off to fully inspect.
again thanks guys
