Just finished replacing my tf 2.5 bb with OME hd springs... 619/618 series... Everything is on and seems fine... But when installing the new rear springs... I didn't see anything that would keep the springs on??? Did I forget to remove something from the TF BB??? or do I need to buy some spring retainers? Or is it okay to ride like this. Still have stock shocks on by the way... Not the long travel ones.

Thanks!!

No everything is probably there. Ome shocks limit the travel and so you don't need retainers. That is unless you got long travel shocks, but I assume you would know if you did.

It depends do you have the long travel shocks?

If you have the long travel shocks then yes you need spring retainers or they will fall out under full drop. If you have the standard shock then you do not need spring retainers.

If you do need spring retainers and you are somewhat handy you can make your own. With a large washer and a bolt and nut with a welded tab on the nut. Apply that to the bottom to retain the coils.

If you get the OME LT kit from Northridge it comes with rear spring retainers. If you are still on stock shocks the shocks will not let the suspension sag enough to have any issue.

spring retainers for the rear but not the front.

The stock shocks are not long enough for that lift and will be over extended. I would upgrade to some longer shocks to get the full benefit out of the lift. You can use a metal hose clamp as a cheap spring retainer.
