Question OME 2" Suspension?

Ok I know I am an FNG when it comes to Jeeps but I need to ask. If I go with the "OME 2" HD suspension system" will I need to add or replace anything else? It is sold with coils, shocks and a track bar bracket. My offroading will be modrate trails no rock crawling.

That is not a 2" lift. Plan on being in the 3.25-4 inch range, depending on 2 or 4 door and any extra weight you have bolted on.

Read the "Q: What are all the components that I will need with a 3" lift?" section in the Suspension FAQ's.

Start with the lift, see how it drives, then add components as needed. (or go out the the northridge site and look at the 'ome hd long travel' kit that they have put together. Even if you start basic and add, it will show you the components for a more complete ome lift.

I believe the OME HD LT kit from Northridge includes front and rear adjustable track bars which is a good idea. You will also need extended bump stops and extended brake line brackets. I also added front lower adjustable control arms to increase the caster and give a more stable ride.

Will you be able fit 35's with the OME HD Coils & shocks?

You can definitely fit 35's on the HD coils. I have 35's on my Unlimited with the Light Duty OME coils but have added TF bumpstops. I have tested at full compression and full flex and have not seen any rubbing. I do not have aftermarket bumpers though, so if you have heavy bumpers I would go HD coils. I have a full 6" between the top of my 35" tire and the lowest point in the stock fender flare.

Plenty of room for 35's.

But if you disconnect, you're going to rub. Decide how much bumpstop you want to run, or trim the fenders. And if you don't get extended brake lines, at least run down to the hardware store and whip up a set of brackets for the rear.

carrier and would be going with the HD Coils. I currently have the RE 2" BB with Monoshocks. I would be just replacing the stock coils for the HD coils and whatever needed to not rub at full flex. The 35's wouldn't happen for at least another year or 2 as my current 33x12.50 Cooper STT's have lots of tread left!

Really??? If the the springs make it a 3" lift or more...How come I have not rubbed with my 33's with just the 2" RE BB with monoshocks. It's close to rubbing but they squeeze under the stock fenders.

Any shots from the side on flat ground to see the fender gap & tires?

I am going to be installing LoD mid-width with winch and LoD rear bumper with tire carrier and would be going with the HD Coils. I currently have the RE 2" BB with Monoshocks. Really??? I guess it would all depend on your bump stops.
