Default OME/track bar noise

So I have had the OME lift/ with FT trackbars on for about a week and suddenly last night I started hearing a small clicking/binding type sound coming from underneath. Its hard to tell, but it seems to come from slightly different areas; depending on which side goes over the bump or pothole.

I have also been driving through an area where a lot of roadwork is being done and the pavement is quite beat up. I wonder if this could have created some issue.

It seems to be occuring over small bumps and acceleration as a previous post described.

I am new to the whole lift thing, and had a shop do the install, so I am not sure how well they greased the trackbars.

I am getting my new tires on tomorrow and would like to have everything in good order.

Does this sound silmilar to the track bar issues or something else?

Thanks for advice.

Definitely sounds like they didnt grease your track bars enough

It also could be something else that. Go through and check all the bolts to the lift kit and make sure everything is tight.

Just for the record 7000 miles on our 4 door with FT trackbars and not one noise at all.

If they greased them right and torqued them down right (which probably is a slim chance) they shouldn't make noise. You might want to redo those two things.

Ive driven mine for a day (given I drove 200 miles today ) ..... and I torqued to 125 and greased them down real good, not one sound comes from them, but ill keep an eye on it

I still dont know if I did it right on the measuring though I think I got 1/4 off on the front and 3/8 off in the rear did the best I could, dont notice anything bad, the ride might be slight bit better.
