Default ok teach me ! still have question..

1 about wheel spacer. i know wheel spacer is for preventing tire rub fender flare, so if i instal wheel spacer i can get more wide tire position. right? so can i get more stable and looks more cool?

2 does wheel spacer has any negative think in terms of stress to drive terrain or wheel?

3 i'm really thinking between 285 70 r17 and 285 75 r17. so if i choose 285 75 r17 do i need aftermarket tire carrier?

4 285 75 r 17 is 34' so do you guys think if i go for 285 75 r17, 35' is better than that?

thanks!!

Wheel spacers widen the track of your jeep. They also help reduce tire rubbing on the frame, but often contribute to rubbing on the flares. Spacers allow for wider tires, or the use of stock rims with a 12.50 tire.

Factory front ends use a unit-bearing style that carries the load of your vehicle. Wheel spacers exaserbate that stress. Some people think that is a big deal but I've never had any problems with it.

No aftermarket tire carrier needed.

35's are a common size and usually cheaper than metric sizes. You won't clear 35's with your jeep in stock form, so be sure your set up for the new tires.

Good luck!

Nope.. 35" spare should fit on stock carrier but you'll need to remove the rubber spacers or trim them.

I just put 285/75/17 on stock wheels with the spidertrax wheel spacers. I added flat flares so no rub on them from the taller tire. Im using the stock carrier. I didnt want 35s because then I felt like I would have to add some lift, which i didnt want to do. The tires look great and I am very happy with this set up.
