The duratecs are still around, I picked up a set for my 1/2 ton and am very impressed a little louder than the stock good year wrangler tires but not the loud drone of an mt tire.

Duratrac is discontinued and replaced with MTR Kevlar

If you are looking for something that will last, go BFG all terrains. Hankook low pro stuff is decent but their offroad stuff is crap. Goodyears are decent but cost just as much as the BFGs and are not as good. General grabbers have a fairly widespread lug tread and will chop out easily if you dont rotate or alignment is out any

Thanks for all the info guys.
So, will 15x8 MB 72 rims (black) with 31/10.5/15 Goodyear DuraTracs look good??????? I haven't seen a picture of this set-up so just trying to picture it in my mind. Again, I have no lift.
And JK-Ford, I see you are in Cabot. I'm in Little Rock! Nice to see another arkie.

The Duratracs I'm currently running seem to be the best all around tire I've ever had on any of my Jeeps or other 4x4's. They are close to a MT in traction and not any louder than other AT's I've had. They aren't quite as good as say a KM2 in deep mud, and I've heard the sidewalls aren't as strong as some MT's if you plan on crawling jagged rocks. Other than that, you can't go wrong.
Are you sure you want to run a tire an inch shorter than stock?
