I had the Ripp supercharger it was nice. But if you ask me I would rather have a larger motor. I feel like the supercharger made the motor work so hard. Today I own a 12 rubi with 37s and if I considered doing some power upgrades it would only be to swap for the hemi. If its a money issue save. Do it once and do it right !

Im looking at the Ripp because it seems like the least invasive install. It looks like the SC makes decent boost at highway speeds which is where I really would like to see improvement in my Jeep, especially when towing my boat.

I have the RIPP stage 2, have had it on since January 2012 and LOVE IT!!! It's on a 2007 Jk 6spd, 5:13 gears and now running 37"s. the power is awesome on and off road. RIPP has put forth the R&D for a great product. They also have the numbers to stand behind their products. If you have any questions or issues they are always there to help with tech support. I just installed the long tube headers yesterday and another great add-on for the supercharger. Supercharger is also easy to install, use basic hand tools and takes about 6 hours to install.

About how much do you feel you have spent? I have been looking at Ripp for quite a while and feel the SC/ header combo is very appealing, if not more than I feel comfortable spending. It's not about how much should I spend it, rather would I really get the bang for the buck I want and feel I deserve for the investment? And to be clear, I am NOT interested in swapping for a Hemi in any situation.

Probably spent about $7500 for everything and id do it again if I had to. This set-up is the best out there. This is less than half the price of a HEMI and half the work

I think my interests are similar to the OP. I want all around performance increases, but I am not about to change to low gears just to rev the snot out of my 3.8. I have a manual trans, 3.73 gears and 315/70-17 MT Bajas which are about 34 inch diameter. My driving is street, highway, hills, and limited off-road for now. Large Marge (my ride) is beautiful, understated, and not something I want to trash for the testosterone rush.
