Default Ok, confused about 2012 gears

Just bought a 2012 Rubicon, which the dealer said came with 3.73 gears (he said all automatics do), but I thought Rubis came with 4.10s. When you build online, 4.10s are auto selected. You have a choice of 3.73s, but if that were done, I would assume it would show 3.73s on my window sticker. Any way for me to easily find out for sure what I have?

When you build from jeep.com it is the 2011 MY you are building.

Research helps here. New for 2012 is the 3.73 gears standard in the auto Rubicon, and 4.10's added as an option. The 4.10's are std in the 6 spd.

I would think window sticker would state what gears are in it, but if it doesn't, it might only identify if the 4.10's are added as an option.

On the website, they are auto-selected because the 6spd is std, with auto as a $1125 option.

Seems silly though. I know 3.73s prob match up better with the engine/trans/tire and wheel combo, but I would think a greater % of Rubi owners would want the 4.10s

That makes sense shifty... You'd think it would change it when you select auto. And 4.10s don't cost anything extra. Oh well.

It must specify 4:10 on the window sticker
