I lost a newly rebuilt 454 Chevy engine to one and no they would not lift a finger to help because I did the oil change myself. You'll never see a Fram on anything I own. As far as oil filters go I still say OEM. Mopar all the way.

Again I say , I've used Mobil one for the last several oil changes, no probs or clatter. My jk sits in my garage all week and isn't used till the weekend. I'm very particular about it and notice any change in anything as I do in all my vehicles. Don't know whats up with the people having probs, but if you do save your receipt and bring the damn thing back if it's F'ing up. Same thing I'd do with any part that was not functioning as it was supposed too!

Its funny how guys can beat a dead horse thread till its killed and dead.

If you dont have issues keep using your filter if you do have issues use a WIX.

Unsubsribed, my email is filling up too much with this thread.

If I could drive the Jeep back to AutoZone and put the filter on the counter without already having a replacement installed.........
Anyway, I wouldn't want them to give me another POS. I'm 0 for 2 on Mobil1 filters and don't plan to give them a third chance. Since the filter was included as part of a package deal, I look at it as a throwaway.

Sorry you had probs with it. If I had probs with mine would feel the same way. Would just go with whatever filter they recommended in that case, that way it's on them. I know it's a PITA, hope you get it resolved.
