Offset for 4" lift
I just ordered a 4" Pro Comp lift for my 07 Wrangler Unlimited and have 17x9 XD Addict wheels on layaway. I plan on putting 35x12.50x17 Cooper Discoverer STT wheels on it. My concern is that the wheels I have on layaway are 18mm offset which i believe is about 5.56 backspacing. Most of my reading is telling me I will need a backspacing of 4.5. The other wheel size they offer is -12 offset which equals that.
Can anyone tell me if the 18 offset while work or do i need to swap them out for the -12 offset?

Consider the reason that everyone is recommending a 4.50 BS.
The new tires are appx 3 inches taller and 2.5 inches wider than stock, right? Stock wheel BS is 6.25". The wheels you have ordered will move the tire out less than .75". Is there much of a chance that the new 35x12.50's would not rub with that BS?
You won't have any problems running those, as long as you don't turn the steering wheel...
