Offroad EVO D44 vs. Pro Rock D60
So I recently have purchased upgrades for my JK after nearly 4 years of ownership, current setup once everything is installed is going to be Offroad Evolution 1/4 pounder bumper up front, LOD stubby rear bumper w/ tire carrier out back, Offroad Evo Rock sliders, Fabtech 5" crawler kit with Dirt Logic shocks and driveshafts, 37" mickey thompson baja MTZ's on sidebiter wheels so here in lies my question. With that list of mods would the beefed up Dana 44's that Offroad Evolution offers with all of the gussets and what not with stand to daily driving and some rough trail runs? Or am I better off just saving for a good while longer and doing the Dana 60's. I have already once sheared off the front track bar bracket and am trying to find out the best way to go about the axle upgrades at this point and I noticed I can do 2 of those Dana 44's for the price of one Pro Rock D60. Any and all advice or opinions are accepted with an open mind. Thanks all.

What he said
As northridge4x4 stated, take a look at the Dynatrac ProRock 44. There are some big differences in the Evo spec'd Dana 44 and a ProRock 44, but the one that Evo cannot address is the Differential housing. Evo has no way to beef that up and Dynatrac uses their proprietary diff housing that is completely on steroids when compared to a stock Dana 44. If you are going to only go as big as 37"s, then a ProRock 44 is really your best and most economical choice. If you are going with more tire, lots more power (V8), then maybe consider a ProRock 60. Only my opinion though

Just go with the Dynatrac. It solves more issues than doing a Frankenstein on an existing axle. Labor may be a factor in cost but if you are staying with a 44 front I would go that route.
Actually that is the route I am going. eventually.

Yea I hear you. It might be more worth it if it was significantly less than $3500 for a tricked out MOPAR one...
