Question Off Road Evolution Front and rear doulble throw down system

I recently posted a thread inquiring about the Fabtech 5" crawler system. Thanks to the help of some very knowledable "Threaders", I've been pleasently talked into buying Evo's Double Throw Down system for both front and rear.

Question #1: Does this system include a lift kit or do I have to buy it seperatly? How much lift does it offer? (Okay that was two ?'s)

Question #2: I will be using this system for both trail/rock crawling and high speed desert duning (Glamis whoops). Is this the right system for me? If not, point me in the right direction...

This set up will lift your JK. No other lift kit needed. A front and rear adj trackbar will be needed, longer brake lines depending how much lift you want (this system is adjustable). A high steer kit is good to have if you plan to go 5+" of lift. Adj long control arm kit too. Teraflex is the best in providing you with everything else you need except for the brakelines.

You really should talk to Mel at Offroad Evolution. He will help you out ;-)

How much is this setup? Also, what is the height adjustability range if you don't need a lift?

I believe that the minimum lift for this setup is 6" since this kit provides 14" of travel. How high? Don't know. Call Mel: 1-714-870-5515

You could go all adj TF short arms if need be with the 12in coilovers. I believe you will need all adj arms, frt and rear adj track bars, steering set up of your choice and of course , new driveshafts. If I were you , I'd call Off-road Evolution and TeraFlex to see just what your options were and a final price for when it's all said and done. The lift on the Evo system can be tailored to your needs. But if you were gonna just run it stock height, you'd be defeating the purpose of having it. One of my friends on here got the frt EVO system, and can't run it cause all he has is a BB. Pays to do your research first. I'm currently trying to sneak that box outta his garage, haha.

X2, get a long arm if you're going with the EVO system. While you don't need it(WOL ran short arms with the EVO coilovers and liked it) the long arm kit really is a drop in the bucket compared the overall cost of front and rear coilovers. If you're going to be doing highspeed at Glamis, I would get a long arm kit, coilovers and have them tuned to 4" of lift or so, 37's, and trimmed fenders. Keep that COG low if possible. Also, with the extra forces that jumping may exert, axles may be something to consider also.

And if you're having someone else do the install, get it all done at once and save some money on the install.
