I posted in the thread I linked here asking how these guys were able to mount their winches behind the stock plastic, but no one answered :( So I figured I'd just start a new thread. I currently have a Rugged Ridge XHD bumper, and while I love it, I'd like to get the mpg I lost by going back to the stock bumper that is modified to look like a stubby. I like the clean look with the winch hidden. What I hate is the stock plastic skid plate. It always ripped off everytime I went mudding. Is there a replacement skid that would fit on the stock bumper? Thanks in advance!

Check out the AEV Front Skid....It will work on the stock bumper.

 

Cool, I'll check it out. I'm just debating if I should revert back to stock or stick with my RR XHD.
