Has anyone re-geared their NV241J to 4-to-1?

My guess is no. The planetary gear set would be too big.

That makes sense. I assumed that the cases were the same and just the gears were different.

I have no desire to go to a 4 to 1 ratio. I live on the east coast no rocks here mostly mud and hills. But your in California so why not just go 5 to 1? There is a guy on here that has the T-Rex JK that runs 5 to 1

Do you have an auto? Go with a rubi crawler then.
