Default Northridge 4x4 vs Offroadevolution

I will be buying a pr 44 in the next five or six weeks and want to know which of these shops is recommended. I will be getting a Detroit locker, 488 gears, chromoly shafts, and 1310 yoke. Offroad Evolution says they will beat any Internet price. But am I losing out somewhere else? Are they using cheaper ring and pinions etc?

Ps- Offroad Evolution has three pr 44s listed. What is the difference between the standard unlimited and extreme duty? Not familiar with this.

Thank you

They both order from Dynatrac and you can custom order from either one. Go with whoever has better customer service and better price.

Checkout the Dynatrac site, should answer most of your questions.

I've never ordered through Offroad Evo but I have ordered through Northridge. Northridge customer service is top notch and after you've read through the info on the Dynatrac I have no doubt that any questions that remained would be answered with a phone call to Northridge. I'm not saying Evo wouldn't do the something I know they are very active on this forum and would probably provide you with similar service.

I don't want to get into the Evo vs northridge argument the guys at Evo are friends of ours I will tell you what we can do for you .

We stock the pro Rock d44 fronts and d60 rear axles so we typically have a three day turn around and free shipping . We use all timken bearings and have built and shipped roughly 150-200 axles . You have lots of options how you want us to build the axle, trackbar brackets and axle shafts .

We sell more pro rock 44's than anybody if you have any questions please give us a call

I see that north ridge 4x4 is very active in the forum and does a lot of free giveaways on their Facebook page, is mentioned to have great customer service by everyone. Not say Offroad evolution doesn't. But think ill be giving north ridge a call because they just seem to be a lot more prominent in the forum and very well liked. And thanks north ridge for your comments.

Mel and the rest of the EVO guys know their stuff. They are basically down the street from Dynatrac, and have a great working relationship. So I am not surprised they can beat any price. Call them and tell them what you are planning. They will tell you what you need. Oh, and they do not cheap out on parts.

While I have never done business with Northridge (I have with Evo), their reputations are stellar. You can do no wrong with either business. I can't say that for others. Both Evo and NorthRidge set the standard for integrity in this or any business.
