That would depend if the RC trackbar comes with the correct size replacement bolt or the diameter of the trackbar hole...Read the link below. Apparently Chrysler is using the wrong size bolt (smaller) for the trackbar mount and control arm mounts, because so overtime it causes the hole to get wallowed out which may lead to the death wobble or premature wear of the parts, etc.....

Yea I'm tracking thats why I want the bolt kit to fix the wrong size bolt issue. Does anyone have the RC front trackbar and if so are the bolts provided the correct size??

I would just call RC, someone's always there and they are very easy to talk to.

Go to a Fastenal or a Tractor Supply. Got all 12 bolts (2 ea for LCAs and 2 ea for tie rods) 24 washers, and 12 nylock nuts all fine thread, grade 8, yellow zinc for under $30.

Prime 8 could you post what the bolt sizes are or a link where it says the sizes? That would be awesome.

I believe this is listed in Planmans death wobble guide, but here's what I got:
-(8) 9/16" 18UNF 4" long bolts (LCAs)
-(4) 9/16" 18UNF 3" long bolts (track bars)
-(24) 9/16", thick washers
-(12) 9/16" 18UNF nylock or similar nuts.
(Normal nuts can be used too, but add in 12 additional lock washers as well)
All grade 8, zinc coated.

CORRECTION: I meant track bars, not tie rods.

Also, FYI, I don't have any RC products. I have a RK suspension. The RC could have come with the proper stuff, but based on RCs quality history, I'd probably invest the $30.

Default Stainless?

Hello,

Is there any reason not to use stainless hardware? I luckily have reletives that run a harware distributor and can get stainless cheap.

Thanks,
Gary
