Default Is This Normal???

If I am sitting in neutral and step on the gas my rpm's will not go over 4200 rpm's. Can someone try this and let me know how high the rpm's will go? Thanks

think so because mine does the same. went to the dealer and they said it is a safety feature something to do with oil..

i have a 2011 sport auto and when i put it in neutral it red lines lolol

my 07 mustang used to do the same at neutral it is normal
