Has anyone used the AEV Drop brackets for the caster correction? if so, what do you think, and would you suggest them for my application?

Ok... did a bunch of research, and while I didn't want to spend this much money up front, I feel that it is better to do it the right way the first time. in addition to the OME 4" lift, would a full set of Currie control arms be enough to dial in the right settings for optimal drivability? I will also be ordering a Tom Woods front drive shaft after the lift is complete.

This is the lift kit I am picking up: 4 Inch Complete OME Jeep Wrangler JK Kit (OMEJK4)

Here is the link for the control arms: Currie Enterprises CJ Axle Parts

And this is the driveshaft: Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts 52301 9800 - Tom Wood's Front 1310 Drive Shaft for 07-14 Jeep® Wrangler & Wrangler Unlimited JK - Quadratec

From what I have read, this should be pretty good as far as quality. I am trying to figure out if there is anything else I absolutely NEED to get to make this work. Any suggestions are welcome. I am new to the game, and don't want to mess this up out of the gate. Thanks!

Coast/JE Reel/Tatton/Adams are all good choices. Regardless of which you choose, there is some great information on Woods website.
You may be right but they are using chinese joint in there shafts and you have to request the spicers. I would have no problem running Woods shafts I would just make sure they have quality u joints.

Currie is a good choice although there are less expensive options.Rock krawler make quality arms and are much cheaper with a you break it we replace it warranty. If the kit doesnt come with extended brakelines then you will need some for sure.

OME shocks and coils are some of the best in the business (best twin-tube/ linear). There are, because that is their main focus of research, development, and production. With regards to geometry correction/ upgrades, there are better options that should be explored. That is where the fun/ hair-pulling comes in.

Any suggestions to where I should start? I read a whole lot about people liking this method or that one. Being that I know relatively little about the business, and everything is "the best product out there", any serious recommendation is truly appreciated.

Thanks!

I recommend calling Tom Woods directly, 877-497-4238. You could probably get a better price and they will build you a custom shaft from simple measurements you provide to them. Tom Wood's Custom Drive Shafts - Tom Woods Custom Drive Shafts Custom Driveshafts Specialist

I see a lot of posts about how good Tom Woods is about customer service. I am probably going to pull the trigger on his shafts just because he seems to stand by his product.

Thanks for the info. Much appreciated.

Tom posted some info way back when, the joints were being built in Wisconsin or somewhere, with parts sourced from several different countries. So where exactly are Spicers coming from? Mexico? India? Everything is outsourced these days.

All of the negativity can be traced back to that one person...
