Default Noob question about regearing...

I just got my JK and am thinking about putting some 295/70/17 nitto trail grapplers on it. Would i have to regear? I will be putting them on rugged ridge rims and will most likely add a 2.5" lift. I have 3.73 gearing from the factory. I have heard of people regearing for 35s so i didnt know if i should for these as well. Thanks in advance for all the help.

no, you'll be fine without regearing. you'll feel some power loss but, so long as you make sure to re-calibrate your speedo so that the shift points are correct again, i think you'll find it acceptable.
