I've decided on new wheels and tires for my '09 4dr Rubi (Liquid Metal Gatlins and GY Wrangler SAs). I'll order those next week. Now that that's done, I'm getting serious about front and rear bumpers. I like the AEVs, Fab Fours and Expedition Ones. Haven't made up my mind on which has the best look to my eye.

Here's the question. Does anyone make good NON TUBULAR full size aluminium bumpers? There seem to be a few out there (I googled aluminium bumpers and found a few), but I haven't seen any on the bumper threads here. Are they simply not strong enough so no one makes/buys them? It seems to me that the weight savings would be appealing, but I'm sure I'm missing something.
