Default Rugged Ridge Snorkel

I love that design!
Simple, effective, non-obtrusive, and I can see when the water is too high and about to enter the intake.
The only thing I'm concerned about is how much cutting and relocation work it will take to get it plumbed-in to that cowl bracket.

As far as "Deep" water extensions go, I don't think it needs to be above the windshield. If you're in that deep, the driver is gonna need scuba gear as well. And we think the 3.8L is a little weak when the jeep is full of air...hah! Wait until it is full of water.

Build that kit for less than $359 and you've got yourself a winner.
