It is possible to run a hitch if you notch the BFH bumper. make sure you leave your cross bar in though, I removed mine for the ease of the install, this bumper is at least 100X stronger than the stock cross bar so when I ever decide to tow something I will directly weld or bolt a custom hitch housing to the bumper.
