Talking No Lift 35"

I would like to put 35" tires on my 08 Rubi Unlimited without lifting the body. I and my wife have short legs and I would like to keep the center of gravity as low as possible for crawling. Any suggestions or write up I can read? thanks, Spiritree

Why not just do a leveling kit and some wide 33s? Oddly enough I think it's the tire width that really rounds out the stance of the JKs more so than the tire height.

You could go with an AiRock system, and then to get in and out on 35" tires you would be lower than a stock JK, and off road you could have about 6" of lift.

That's a good idea. With no lift, your break over angle is going to suck for crawling.

Flat fenders, trim the rubi rails, a maximum of 4.5" back spacing and bend in the pinch seams. Some minor rubbing at full flex and there are a couple threads on it if you do a search.

Default 35" on with no lift or rubbing

07 Rubicon with no lift yet. I had to try and put them on while I was waiting for my 2.5" Tereflex to come in. I did not believe that they fit and that there is no rubbing at all. I almost considered not running the lift at all but if you do any wheeling or even hit a big enough pothole you might rip the tread right off a $300 tire and do some serious damage.

That looks great, only question is regarding stock rims. I see you have after market rims here. With stock rims are spacers neccesary to clear the brake lines?
